The Austin Market

Growth has moved to the suburbs. Identity hasn’t caught up.

Austin keeps adding residents, but the growth is in Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown and Lakeway, and the patient base skews toward natural results and hard research. In our October 2026 review of 31 Austin homepages, no surgeon led with a single specialty, the surgeon led the page on only three of 15, and seven of 16 med spas didn’t say who runs them. Austin discounts less than Dallas. It says less about who the practice is.

The State of Aesthetic Branding in Austin, 2027
What a new Austin practice should own
01

One clear specialty

No Austin surgeon in our review leads with one. The face, the nose, the breast or the post-weight-loss body is open to claim.

02

Say who runs it

Nearly half of Austin med spas don’t. Put the physician and the lead injector on the homepage and make them the brand.

03

Design for restraint

Austin patients want to look rested, not done. Quiet identity, real photography and honest recovery language win here.

What we do for Austin practices

Brand consulting and development, from the name to opening day.

We are a Texas studio, three hours up I-35 in Fort Worth. Strategy happens on calls and in person; photography and film are shot on site in Austin.

Before you open

Texas requires physician ownership and sets rules for office-based anesthesia and advertising. Our Austin guide covers them with sources.

FAQ
Do you work with Austin practices if you are based in Fort Worth?+

Yes. We are a Texas studio. Strategy runs on calls and in-person sessions, and photography and film are produced on site in Austin.

What should a new Austin practice focus on?+

A clear specialty and a visible provider. In our review, no Austin surgeon led with one specialty and many med spas didn’t name who runs them, so both are open positions.

Do you build websites for Austin practices?+

Yes. Websites are built on the brand, with procedure pages, galleries and local search set up for Austin and the surrounding suburbs.

When should we start branding before opening?+

Six to twelve months before opening. Name, trademark and domain come first, then identity and a website that has time to rank before opening day.
